A new exhibit inside the Glass Flowers gallery at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, Rotten Apples: Botanical Models of Diversity and Disease features several Blaschka models that have been kept in storage for decades. The models depict apples (and a few other fruits) in various stages of decay or disease. Check out the story in the Harvard Gazette.

The conservation of the Glass Flowers is supported by a gift from George Putnam III ’73, J.D. ’77, M.B.A. ’77, and Kathy Putnam.
