World Fungus Day was instigated in the UK and is coming to be recognized across the globe. This day provides a special opportunity to consider the importance of fungi in ecosystems, crop and human health. Harvard houses a large and important collection of fungi in the fungarium at the Farlow Library and Herbarium. This collection is worldwide in scope and supports research on fungi both locally and internationally. Over several years the the Farlow has sponsored lectures and activities. In recognition of World Fungus Day, held this year on October 7th, we invite you to view these lectures on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWIpSs7kxWqgm7TciJIlhlzHjQeXHVa2_
