The Botany Libraries archives will have limited appointments available from April 15- June 7, and appointments may need to be scheduled several weeks in advance. Please allow at least one week for responses to archives appointment, reference, and digitization emails during that time period.

The main reading room, located on the second floor of the Harvard University Herbaria (HUH), is open to all researchers.  It is open Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm except for University holidays.  Non Harvard ID holders will need to call 617-495-2366 upon arrival into the Herbarium lobby for access to the second floor. 

Archival collections may be consulted by advance appointment only.  

Visitors do not need to make an appointment with the Access and Borrowing Office to use the Botany Libraries – required documentation as outlined in the policies may be brought directly to the Botany Libraries.
